Disneyland!

Pictures of Paris coming up. Disney was amazing, we had the best weather. It was a little chilly, but during the afternoon we finally felt the suns power (for the first time this year!). So we unzipped our jackets and did Space Mountain, Peter Pan, nearly everything! It was lovely.

Anniversary!

Monday was my two year-anniversary with my love, Joris.

Honoustly I can't be more grateful that I have found someone that enriches me. That makes me a better, funnier, nicer person. Someone who encourages me to do what I dream about. Someone who not only thinks of himself, but also of me when he makes decisions. Someone to cheer me up, to listen to my stories, to laugh with me, and to love me.

I never thought it was possible to love someone even MORE after two years of being with that person. I always thought people who said "I'm now even more in love than ever", lied, just to make the other person feel better. But now I know it's true.

I can't wait for the moment I'll get to wake up next to him every morning for the rest of my life. To get to share even more amazing (little) things in life. To one day, have childeren, if we are lucky. And not for the next couple of years.

We celebrated our anniversary going out to dinner, and then falling asleep in each others arms.

I can't say I've ever been more in love.

I will go see my boyfriend today, and we'll stop by the carnival parade. Then we'll have dinner (no clue as to what), and go to the cinema. As for the movie: we've already argued, so let's wait and see what we feel like! ;)

Valentines day is my day... I can't say anything but that I'm probably the most romantic soul that has ever set foot on this planet. And I HATE on the people who think of Valentines day as bullshit. Just some commercial day to make money, they say. 'Every day is Valentines day'. I throw up, please!

YES, everyday is Valentines Day for me also, ask my boyfriend, he'll admit. But those people FAIL to see the beauty of the day!! It's not ABOUT those gifts. It's about little things, telling your lover what he or she means to you, it's about a little breakfast in bed, write a beautiful little card, maybe go see a movie, cook together...

Valentines day doesn't have to cost a single cent if you don't want it to! It's about showing your love a little extra this day. Regardless of all the other days in the year... Regardless of what other people say or do...

Valentines Day... A whole day dedicated to LOVE!.... It's the prettiest day in the year for that matter.

So to everybody: Happy Valentines Day! Hope you're as in love as I am!

As I was shopping he told an excuse to leave for a few minutes. He said he'd go to the bank. I thought that was strange, but I thought: hey, I'm in ZARA, I don't blame the guy, I'll go play, HA. Three minutes later he came back. I thought: hmm, the bank is further away. Right at that thought he pulled his arm from behind his back and gave me the red rose!

Now all: Ahhhhhhhhhhw!

Needless to say I walked aroud smiling like Micky Mouse on serious drugs. I love my man so much :)

About 1,5 week ago my boyfriend and me ran off for some alone time. What we wanted? Nature, relaxation, enjoying each other, and the cheapest hotel we could find. Ha! And we succeeded. We went to Valkenburg, in the south of my country. I posted some of million pictures we took. Most taken by my boyfriend, with my lousy camera (isn't it amazing what he can still do with it?). You can tell the crappy ones came from my hands ;).

And just look at that forest. Defenitely the prettiest forrest I've ever seen I think. I've never been in a forest with hills I think. It differs so much from a 'flat' forest. It had something magical to it... Amazing. Like a fairytale. We were alone, and amazed by the beauty of nature. Wow.

Welcome to my new blog. I've had some in the past, but I always managed to neglect them. Or simply lose interest. For a little while I'd been playing with the idea of starting a new blog. I myself love to read other people's blogs, and I'm a writer. I love my pen. I decided then, let's give it another go.

So who is the smiling lady? You might ask... I think it's far more interesting for you to find out yourself. Partially since I don't always know so well who I am aswell. I can give you some info though. I am an 18 year old life loving lady in becoming. I study, most of the time with pleasure.

Of all of the things I am not sure of, there is one big thing I do know. I love love. Yes you read it right. I love to love and be loved. I'm defenitely pro love. This sounds hippie, does it not? I'm not, I'm a Disney-raised princess with undoubted faith in love and happy endings :).
