New layout and catching up!

How do you like my new layout?

I think any occasion calls for owls, so this one certainly did it.

Let's give a quick update on how and what I'm doing. I'm a busy bee as always. At the moment I'm home sick, catching up on some well needed sleep. And on some schoolwork, I don't get around to doing.

As for school, I'm entering my last month of a very exhausting daily project in Den Bosch. It's a collaboration between my school of journalism and a regional newspaper. We get to create our own projects with either writing, radio or telivision, which is fun. And we have webdesigning interns who will help us develop our websites. It's fun, but every day (except wednesday) from 9.30 to 5, so it's a long week, and unpaid. Which means that I have to work on saturday, and one evening a week. The other day of the weekend and another evening in the week I have to play sports. And then another evening of the week I have to take driving lessons, which I wish I could do more often but I don't have the time.

Then on wednesdays I have my minor. It's called creative writing and at the moment we're doing several things. I'm working on an article about my dad's aunt (does that make her my greataunt?), she traveled to the USA in 1948. It's nearly done, although I did bombard her with another list of questions (the last one, I promise). I want to make it perfect, because I think her story deserves to be told to it's fullest. I want it to read like a book, easy, but touching. I'm not there yet, but I will be hopefully in two weeks.

So that's not all, I also have to write a short story, which is about three pages, about a fictional subject of my choice. That isn't easy either. But it's fun.

As you can see, everything takes up plenty of time, and I honoustly can't wait untill next month, when I won't have to spend every day at school from 9.30 to 5. I kind of like some spare time :).

Anyway, I'm having a lovely day relaxing today. I hope your day is wonderful too.

Oh, and on the plusside. It's been nice weather here. The sun has been shining very bright and the temperatures are rising. It's helps to lift my mood. Last winter it snowed from about december first till march 1st, so I kinda died mentally when it started snowing last december again.

Omygod!

It's been soooooooooo long.

What have I been doing? School, mostly. I'm now in the fabulous project 'Europe' at my study. Which means all I learn about now is the European Commission, The European Parliament, and everything that has to do with Europe.

It also means I have to write two newsstories a week, read 8 chapters of the most boring book ever in two weeks. Read three chapters from ANOTHER document in just three days. Make two essays in two weeks. AND follow all the classes (every day!).

So yeah.. that's how I don't have time for blogging.

And err.. fabulous was ofcourse sarcasm. It's the most boring project EVER.

finally... an outfit!

Sooooooooo... Have I been busy. It feels nice to finally be able to breathe. Yes. It's been that bad. So naturally the first things that had to go off my to-do-list, was my blog. I had school (test week, essays, and portfolio-closing), work, sports, driving lessons, theory lessons, and a boyfriend who wanted to see me.

Now I finally closed my portfolio, and it looks like I'm going to pass this year. Well.. it's actually ALMOST certain. I'm waiting for one more result, and if that one is positive, I've passed. I still have one more project to go, which luckily isn't that intensive. Then I will only still have my assessment, and I'll be on my way to Italy! (How excited am I for that?!!!!)

Nevertheless I did score some outfit pictures for my blog, and this is one of them. I love this jacket insanely. I bought it a year ago in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Or I think I did at least, I might have bought it before...

Anyways.. I love the colour so much, it's one of my favorite shades of blue. I decided to keep the rest of the outfit simple, wearing just black and white.

I'll keep posting this week, but for now.. breathe. Eat, and then work (in an hour). So much for relaxing :). Tomorrow all I have planned is watch Holland - Japan, which I'm excited for!!

What I'm doing!

Just saturday handed in two essays, had one exam of literature today, another of random knowlegde tomorrow, and a Dutch exam on thursday. Also just had my sixth driving lesson, and tonight my class in car theory.

You can tell I'm busy. Who says students have a lot of free time?

Busy busy!

Yep, same old, same old..

But hey, that's my real excuse because I've had to prepare 2 presentations (both having to read extremely boring and long texts for), AND I've had to make a start on two essays (which, yes, also contains a lot of literature on journalism).

So yeah.. but I don't feel sorry for myself. I'm quite good at planning!
